Sixth Form students are important role models for students throughout the Academy in all that they do. It is therefore vital that students follow the business wear policy detailed below. Sixth Form is a work environment and this is reflected in the exemplary standards of business wear our students maintain every day.

The dress code for all Sixth Form students is black and white business wear as follows:

An appropriate tie

Girls are not expected to wear a tie.

Plain black formal suit trousers or a skirt (All skirts must be longer than knee length, smart black dresses are acceptable).

Plain Black formal suit jacket (black waist coats are acceptable under a jacket).

Plain Black formal suit jacket (Smart black cardigans are acceptable).

The following are not accepted as part of business wear:

  • Trainers, plimsolls
  • Hoodies

Business wear will be worn at all times throughout the Academy. Students may remove their suit jackets during lesson time and in study areas. When moving around the Academy full business wear must be worn at all times. Students who take part in Dance and P.E. must attend the Academy in full business wear and only wear the Dance and P.E. kit during lessons and leadership events.
